How to spot a fake!

Fake or 'styled' (mugen style, asm style, spoon style) are all cool in my books. It's how the owner fronts them to you. You could fool the odd person, but if you are are an enthusiast you could point out some true facts.

DoNeLIZ Stepping up the game

I was always a fan of Don's car. ASM front bumper will always have a place in me. I am considering changing it up as well.

Don's latest setup is extreme. I love the static stance and the aggressive te37s that of course are concave.  I really want to do a street setup. I admire the hard work that these guys put into their cars. The results are always amazing. These shots were before wide fenders so I'll update that down the road.

Cherry Blossoms!!!!!

I'm learning how to use photoshop and decided to share some "Cherry Blossom" photos. I encourage everyone to go and snap some shots around this time as they give a nice back drop. If it's not your thing, have a good day.

The tools I'm using on photoshop is: colour replacement, brightness/contrast...I also learned how to change rim color and lower cars haha..

Random Snaps....Chow-Bots Beast

Been a busy weekend. Working on the car. Got my fog lights fixed by my buddies over at buff bros detailing. They do an amazing job over there.

Angel-ic Death From Below

There is nothing angelic about this ride.....it's a straight up BEAST. Everyone needs to take 15 minutes out of your day and pick up the latest Honda Tuning magazine. Inside you'll find the well-deserved cover car of Angel aka. dB2mexican's (s2ki) incredible and unique build. You've probably seen this car at the latest wekfest meet with his homies from ATS* crew. These guys do it big and hopefully one day I get to meet some.

What make's this car so unique? I would have to say it's the use of the J's Racing molded half lip and molded Arrow's fenders flares. I have never seen a car put so well together with the use half lip. I've seen so many passive builds that just couldn't pull it off. I don't know what it is, but I think it's a combination of the tires sticking out and the Spoon bonnet. The Arrow fenders are SICK. I had no idea they existed until I saw Angel's car, I would've considered this on my car if I knew.

My favorite part about this car are the ITBs. My favorite mod.....ever. I like how they were perfectly machined to fit. I bet he initially thought they were going to fit but ran into that problem. Unless he knew about it beforehand and thereforce I need to take some notes from him. I probably have the worst luck with car stuff -haha.

Blackmarker's Project AP1...Part 1

What's up...today we have a special car that I want to display. Currently it's undergoing a HUGE and COMPLETE makeover. But, before we skip to the '2011 build' photos, we must remember our roots.

This car is mint, but it ain't no garage queen. The owner, Clement, spends more time on the track than driving this on the street. These are one of the rare builds that people come across. From a prestine "Lambo" white paint job to cover a J's Racing exterior to molded ASM rear 1/4 panel flares. It's the little things that count and what separates a normal build to an exceptional build. YES, I'm talking about stuff that people won't ever notice: kpro, roll center adjusters, upgraded lines, fuels pumps, sways, port and polished head...etc

This car has gone through so many exhaust setups that I started to lose track. Having a Kraftwerks Highboost kit and dumb track noise restrictions do not get along. I remember watching Clement one time at the track and he got black flagged for noise. $250 down the drain. I know how it feels to be black flagged off the track so I threw Clement the keys too my car..."have fun," I said. I don't let ANYONE drive my car.

I'll update on his 2011 build in a little bit...soooo droolworthy.

The day Jackie brought his s2k from the island is the day we went for dim sum. A long drive for this guy all the way through the mountains to Calgary in his freshly painted candy blue te37s. The fitment is on par. These photos also made its way to hellaflush site some how.....I lost the link but I was pretty surprised!

Exactly one year ago...attack of the cherry blossoms

Holy shit...time flies. The cherry blossoms are blooming and that reminded me that I need to do an updated sakura shot. Exactly one year ago I took this shot. I remember Tantheman on s2ki/password JDM, submitted this shot to magazine (I forgot which one).

I remember this week, it was a huge one. I threw plates on my ride and met up with my buddies matt (rx7) and felix.(FiT). This was also the first time I used my new point-and-shoot camera, the Canon G11 - what a beast!
